There is a High Wind Warning in effect for most of our viewing area.
Through early Sunday evening, strong winds are expected. Sustained winds of at least 40mph with gusts 58mph or higher may lead to property damage and potentially hazardous travel conditions, especially for high profile vehicles. Winds will be out of the NW 30-45mph gusting up to 65mph.
This High Wind Warning will remain in effect until 6am CST (5am MST) Monday.

Burleigh, Morton, Stark, Ward, Williams, Oliver, Mercer, McLean, Dunn, McKenzie, Golden Valley, Billings, Slope, Bowman, Hettinger, Adams, Grant, Sioux, Emmons, McIntosh, Logan, Stutsman, Kidder, Sheridan, McHenry, Renville, Burke, Mountrail, Divide, LaMoure & Dickey.
There is a Blizzard Warning in effect for parts of Central & most of Eastern ND, from near the Turtle Mountains south into the upper James River Valley.
Very strong winds, coupled with light to moderate snow will lead to blizzard conditions late tonight through Sunday night. Snowfall totals will range from 1-3 inches for most areas.
A blizzard warning means that severe winter weather is expected. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibilities are likely and may lead to white out conditions. Winds will be strong with gusts as high as 60mph. Damage to trees & power lines is possible.
Roadways will become hazardous making travel very dangerous. If you need to travel, have a winter survival kit in your car. The latest road conditions are available at online at http://www.dot.nd.gov/travel-info-v2/ or by calling 5-1-1.
This Blizzard warning will remain in effect until 6am CST Monday.
